Nightwing a playable character in Batman: Arkham City

Dickie G fans, you're in for a treat! Rocksteady has announced that Nightwing will be a fully playable character in the upcoming Batman: Arkham City game. Check out the full official image and more details after the jump.


Although the game's release date is October 18th (1 more week!!), the Nightwing DLC bundle won't be available for purchase until November 1st for $6.99 on PSN or 560 Microsoft Points. Nightwing will have his own gadgets, weapons, and judging from his trademark escrima sticks, a unique fighting style.

The bundle will include two maps, "Wayne Manor" and "Main Hall", and a Batman: Animated Series skin. Like Tim Drake-Robin, Nightwing will be playable in all the game's challenge maps.

In addition to the Nightwing reveal, it's been announced that Robin, though initially only a Best Buy preorder exclusive, will be made available for everyone as DLC on November 22nd. Can't wait!!
