Totally Awesome Hulk Issue One

Jokes aside, the debut issue of Amadeus Cho as the new Hulk delivers with stirring scenes, intense action and yes, humor!

The opening page of Totally Awesome Hulk issue one kicks the action right off the bat as writer Greg Pak and artist Frank Cho, demonstrate Amadeus Cho's abilities and powers as the new Hulk.  The story is filled with humor and should appeal to younger fans as well, acknowledging the brashness and exuberance of Amadeus Cho, and his audience.  There are a few tender scenes with Amadeus Cho and his sister and some epic guest stars to complete a great debut story.

Frank Cho's artwork once again will captivate readers, especially Marvel Comics fans, who rarely see his art. I don't know how long Frank's run on this book will be.  Look for certain recognizable elements that have been a staple of Frank Cho's body of work, to appear in this issue as well.

Final Verdict: 9/10
