Despite originally being set for a Fall 2015 release, TT Games' "LEGO Marvel's Avengers" game will now be available in early 2016.

LEGO X-Men Marvel Superheroes

Could some of the upcoming LEGO X-Men minifigs wind up being released along with or part of the LEGO Avengers movie sets as well? A peek at the Marvel Superheroes page at the LEGO site, shows Magneto, Deadpool and Wolverine alongside Earth's mightiest heroes. This could also be simply a preview of the separate LEGO X-Men merchandise to come. Of course, this is all just speculation but we'll have more updates as they come.

You may have already seen the DC Superheroes LEGO sets debuting at your local retailer.  Marvel Comics has unveiled the Avengers movie LEGO minifigures and sets, which directly tie in to the movie.

LEGO Lord of The Rings Minifigs

Here's a sneak peek at upcoming LEGO Lord of The Rings sets and accompanying minifigs collection.  The individual sets will debut sometime this summer 2012 as noted on the LEGO website.  We expect the individual playsets to be as massive as other collections, in terms of detail and depth as the Star Wars and Harry Potter collections. I can't wait for the Helm's Deep playset should they release it!

LEGO Batman 2 officially confirmed

Hurray! Warner Brothers and The Lego Group have officially confirmed LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes for a summer 2012 release! Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern have all been confirmed as playable characters, while the Joker and Lex Luthor will be the game's primary villains. Crossing my fingers for the Flash or Aquaman!!

LEGO Batman Gotham City Games

LEGO Gotham City Games is the perfect companion for LEGO Batman despite not truly being an actual LEGO-based game. Instead the game is comprised of a series of challenges with a tie-in to the Dark Knight's villains.  It's great for both young and even adult players. The app is divided into a Story Mode and a Free Play Mode.  There's a Batarang toss game, in which you have to hurl them at the Joker's minions, a Bane boxing/punching bag challenge, that tests your memory skills and a Scarecrow aerial shooter game and as well as many others.

Are you brave enough to take on the villains' challenges?

Players looking for unique challenges with a LEGO Batman twist, will enjoy this app for it's multitudes of fun and even sometimes frustratingly hard, series of mini games.   Once you master and finish certain levels of challenges in the Story Mode, you can unlock bonus content such as wallpaper and more levels.  The Free Play section allows you to practice your skills. The game is is available for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

LEGO Batman 2 Promo Image Revealed

A leaked promo image for Lego Batman 2 has surfaced on the web. Titled "LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes", the game will likely feature Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern as playable characters. (Lego bricks AND an imagination fueled Green Lantern ring? Winning.)

We're hoping the game isn't limited to just Gotham City this time around, and also explores other locations of the DC universe. Imagine flying through space as Lego Hal Jordan dodging Lego bricked asteroids? :)

With the addition of more characters to the DC x Lego Universe, this all but promises more DC Lego sets in the future!

The game doesn't have a set release date but is rumored for Summer 2012.

The LEGO Photo App offers a unique way to stylize your photos.  Playing with LEGOs was a cherished childhood memory. So many fond moments building things and of course, accidentally stepping on pieces! Who knew that LEGO would turn up in my life, many years later in a different way! The LEGO Photo App available for iPhones is a cool app to add fun and style to your photos.

   

After you’ve selected the photo, the app converts it into LEGO brick mosaics with various colors. You can save these photos as well.
