Apple TV 4.3 Software Update

The latest Apple TV update takes you further into Apple's iCloud service by allowing users to stream their purchased shows straight to their television sets.

Apple TV update 4.3 now allows users to stream previously purchased television shows directly from the device to the connected television. This new Purchased feature appears in the TV Shows section of the main menu of Apple TV. You will be able to see all the shows you have purchased and watch them. This eliminates the need to stream from your iOS device such as an iPad or iPhone. This update is similar to the Purchased section of iTunes on your iPhone or iPad where you can download the same TV shows on your iOS device.

Additionally, Apple has added Vimeo as another internet video browsing service for your viewing pleasure.

The update is available now on the main menu of Apple TV via the Update Software section. This update is only available for second generation models. Perhaps a later update will allow for movie streaming as well.
