Along with other major television networks, PBS makes it debut on your Xbox 360 gaming console.
Home to notable shows such as Frontline, Nova and This Old House, your local PBS channel (full videos and clips) can now be viewed through your Xbox 360 console. Xbox Live Gold members will have access to these programs as well original content from PBS Digital Studios.

The breadth of the PBS programs is dependent on your local provider and we hope it will include fan favorite shows such as Downton Abbey and Sherlock. The addition of the network is a bit puzzling considering the demographics of the typical gamer. After all, you don't necessarily expect someone to be playing Call of Duty: Ghosts and then switch to watch Masterpiece Theater later. However, it does signify the continuing efforts of the console maker to transform the device into a media center hub.
