Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Mobile

It's back to the Old School as Rockstar Games announces the release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for select mobile platforms!

Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will finally be available on a variety of mobile devices that run iOS, Android, Windows Mobile and even the Amazon Kindle. For iOS7 users, the mobile version will include full Made for iOS7 controller capabilities. Remastered graphics including enhanced character and car models are some of the highlights of this release.

Despite the existing rock solid touch controls from previous versions in the Grand Theft Auto series, gamers can also "expect brand new touch controls including contextual control options to display buttons only when you need them and three different control schemes for driving and maneuvering, as well as a reworked checkpoint system for easier progression".  If you've played GTA III and Vice City on the iOS platform, the simple onscreen control system is superb enough as it is. Look for the mobile version to be released sometime in December.

Available now for iOS users are Grand Theft Auto 3 and Grand Theft Auto Vice City:
