FOX has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming Lucifer television series debuting this fall. Here are some behind the scenes photos as well.
“Lucifer” stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer. Bored as the King of Hell, he resigns his throne and abandons Hell for Los Angeles. While there, he helps the LAPD punish criminals. Lauren German stars as Chloe Dancer, an LAPD homicide detective who is both intrigued and repulsed by Lucifer; Lesley-Ann Brandt as Lucifer’s companion Maze (Mazikeen in the comics series), a fierce demon who takes the form of a woman; D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, an angel sent to L.A. to persuade Lucifer to return to hell; and Rachael Harris as Linda, Lucifer’s therapist.
Behind the scenes:
It hasn't been revealed if Mazekeen's origin and backstory will be revealed in the television series. FOX may pair the show with "Gotham", the TV series based on the Batman comics, during the upcoming Fall television schedule as well.
