Daredevil: Rosario Dawson

While it's quite early to speculate on which character actress Rosario Dawson will play on Netflix's Daredevil series, it seems obvious as to which one she should be cast as.



When Marvel announced that Rosario Dawson was joining the Daredevil television series, it was truly another great addition to the cast which had already included Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson "The Kingpin" Fisk and Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil.  Many have speculated that she may play Echo, Elektra, Milla Donovan or even Karen Page but only a few have suggested the most obvious role, which is Kirsten McDuffie.

I share the same enthusiasm in seeing Elektra make her long awaited return in some capacity for this upcoming Netflix television series.  However, it seems logical in a marketing sense, to have Ms. Dawson as Ms. McDuffie, the current sparkle in Matt Murdock's life, to connect both mediums together.  If she is cast as Elektra then that would certainly add too many martial arts elements to both Daredevil and Marvel/Netflix's other series, Iron Fist.

Regardless of who she does end up being cast as, the show is certainly banking on some interesting choices for the series.  We couldn't be more excited to see Ms. Dawson join the cast.
