While we’ll reportedly see Elizabeth Olsen reprise her role as Wanda Maximoff in the next Doctor Strange film, not much is known yet about the fate of Vision.
Like his character, actor Paul Bettany’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, remains a mystery. Is this the last time we’ll see Vision, in the Disney Plus show WandaVision?
In the comics, both Wanda Maximoff and Vision have a rocky end to their unique relationship. It is a stark contrast to what fans have been enjoying so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe of movies and shows. Both mediums show the eventual resurrection of the android-synthoid and Wanda's unwavering love for Vision. Unless the comics though, Bettany's contract with Marvel Studios will expire. It remains to be seen how much more of the character, will be shown beyond the WandaVision series. There has been no indication that Bettany's character will appear in the upcoming Doctor Strange film or any other Marvel Cinematic Universe show or film either. Time will tell if Vision's long run in the Marvel CInematic Universe comes to a close soon or will make a few more appearances.
