Acclaimed writer Ann Nocenti will begin as the new writer for
Green Arrow starting with issue 7. Nocenti is best remembered for her writing on
Daredevil in the early 90s and introduced his most lethal villain, Typhoid Mary.

Nocenti is also the creator of X-Men's Longshot and his nemesis Mojo. During Nocenti's run, Daredevil's alter ego Matt Murdock had an affair with Typhoid Mary's alias, despite Murdock being in a relationship with Karen Grace. It's interesting to note that the renegade hero Green Arrow has some opposite personality traits to Daredevil's sense of vigilante justice.
Nocenti also wrote some backup stories in Classic X-Men with notable stories such as "Spigot at the End of The Universe" which focused Charles Xavier and his time with Lilandra. In addition, she wrote the "Someplace Strange" graphic novel featuring artwork by John Bolton, Vertigo's Kid Eternity and some work on Batman as well.
Here are classic covers from Nocenti's Daredevil series featuring artwork by John Romita Jr.:
