The next villain to be featured in writer Scott Snyder's story arc for Batman, is none other than the Joker! The big announcement on Monday, comes after weekend tweets from Snyder polling followers, on who they would like the Dark Knight to take on, after the Court of Owls storyline ends.

The Joker story will begin in Batman issue 13. Snyder states that this upcoming arc will be the "biggest, baddest, darkest most twisted...we could do" with the character.

Marvel Vs. DC

Does anyone else see the similarities between Jim Lee's Justice League cover and Mark Bagley's Avengers Assemble cover?

Growing up in the 90's, I loved both Mark Bagley's work on the Amazing Spider-Man as well as Jim Lee's X-Men. I have to say this is absolutely cool, and could be a coincidence or a direct nod to Lee's original piece. But I can't help but think it's a actually a little jab at which is the better team. Tongue-in-cheek nonetheless. Oh well.

REVIEW: Superman/Batman: Supergirl

Veteran comic book readers know that the original Supergirl was killed in DC Comics's now legendary Crisis on Infinite Earths in 1985.

Fast forward to 2004. Nearly 20 years later in DC's Superman/Batman series, the character of Kara Zor-El, better known as Supergirl, is reintroduced back into the present day DC Universe. Written by Jeph Loeb with art by the late Michael Turner, the collected issues are available in one trade paperback titled Superman/Batman: Supergirl. The book is a great introduction for those unfamiliar with the iconic character, and for veteran readers a nice welcome back for the Girl of Steel. Although DC's New 52 initiative "undoes" this origin, it's very much still a worthy read.
