PICK OF THE WEEK: Rob Zombie

Rob Zombie - "Mondo Sex Head"
A groovy remix CD comprising many of his own songs in addition to White Zombie classics as well. DJ extraordinaire Jason Bentley helped produced the pulsating tracks for this release. Our favorites are "Foxy Foxy" and the solemn "Dragula", enjoy! Click here to purchase via Amazon.

PICK OF THE WEEK: Siamese Dream

With the release of their CD "Siamese Dream" back in 1993, the band Smashing Pumpkins established themselves as another iconic band of the decade. Despite several lineup changes, the band has pumped quality music over the years. "Siamese Dream" and it's chart topping singles such as "Cherub Rock", "Disarm" and "Today" showcased singer Billy Corgan's gifted lyrics and the band's sonic sounds.

I still recall their mainstream coming out performance on Saturday Night Live during the Siamese Dream tour. The band seemed relax despite the impending success. My favorite track is "Mayonnaise". Enjoy!

Album Review: Achtung Baby Deluxe Edition

Album Review: Achtung Baby Deluxe Edition by U2

It's hard to believe that U2 has been around that long. If I had to pick the breakout album for the band, it would certainly be Achtung Baby. The varied songs and sounds from this album alone provides you with enough satisfaction to truly rank this as one of their best.

Album Review: Psyence Fiction

Album Review: Psyence Fiction by UNKLE

Trip-hop fans will not be disappointed with UNKLE's debut album. It is a satisfying audio adventure filled with elements of rap, rock and electronic music. Featured guest stars include Mike D. of the Beastie Boys, Thom Yorke of Radiohead and others combine to deliver a superb barrage of eclectic sounds.

DJ Shadow delivers the goods with his turntablism and samples on "Celestial Annihilation". The track will force you to grab your old school Puma sneakers and start breakdancing. Catch Thom Yorke's haunting vocals on "Rabbit in Your Headlights". Another gem that will stir your ears with delight is singer Ian Brown on "Lonely Soul". Hear the sonic work of former Metallica member Jason Newsted on "Nursery Rhyme/Breather".

Final Rating: A+
