iTunes 11: Screenshots and Overview

Apple recently updated the desktop version of iTunes with an interface similarly found in it's iOS devices.  The Cover Flow feature, allowing users to flip through music and movie covers has also been removed. Peep some of the interface changes.

The iTunes 11 Store landing page directly mimics the user interface available in the current iOS operating system. Obviously this new interface has some remaining Cover Flow similarities.

Music albums extend downward, revealing the album tracks. Right-clicking within the entire area reveals more added functionalities and features. The Depeche Mode "Violator" selection is reminiscent of the days when longboxes were used to store compact discs as a security feature.

Movies section will probably require going fullscreen to appreciate the new look. Hopefully in an update, users can choose to scenes and bonus features by expanding the selected movie page.
