Batwoman

Batwoman aka Kathy Kane was originally the love interest of Batman in the previous DC Comics continuity. She was from the planet Earth-2, which depicted the characters from DC's "Golden Age" of comics. The character was revived recently by writer Grant Morrison during his Batman Inc. series. Kane has received some media attention for her character's homosexuality.

 

After subsequent appearances during the 52 storyline and the Batwoman 0 one-shot in late 2010, she now has her own new series.
